Proposal Execution Module
Status: Planned for V2
The Proposal Execution Module bridges the critical gap between governance decisions and governance actions. Currently, when a proposal passes, DAOs often rely on manual follow through to implement the agreed upon changes, introducing delays, human error, and room for disputes. The Proposal Execution Module removes these hurdles by automatically carrying out the will of the DAO as recorded on-chain.
Key Benefits:
Efficiency: Automatically executing approved proposals saves time and effort, allowing the DAO to move swiftly from decision to action. By removing manual steps, the DAO reduces friction, ensures timely implementation, and maintains operational momentum.
Integration: The module seamlessly interacts with the Snapshot Voting and Treasury Management modules. For example, a funding proposal passed through Snapshot Voting can trigger an immediate and secure treasury disbursement. This holistic integration streamlines the entire governance pipeline.
Flexibility & Complexity Management: Not all proposals are straightforward. Some might require phased deployments, conditional checks, or partial rollouts. The Proposal Execution Module can handle these scenarios, enabling DAOs to codify complex governance flows that unfold over time and adapt to evolving conditions.
